Still love this… repost. Sorry, not sorry. 🙂
I fall in love with this track every time I listen to it. Timeless.
Singer-songwriter, Kelvin Jones has quickly accumulated quite a fan base and listening to this track it is easy to understand why.
His official video for ‘Call You Home’ has been nominated for various ‘Video Of The Year’ awards and already clocked up 473,000 views.
A really lovely chilled, blues track. This guy is one to watch!
Her addictive angelic voice with catchy, abstract style ensures Kiiara shines brightly with her track ‘Hang up tha phone’. Produced by Felix Snow. This is on repeat at the moment.
I recently got the opportunity to review The Struts debut album “Everybody Wants” on Polydor/Interscope Records. The Struts are an English rock band consisting of vocalist Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies. Formed in 2010.
The glam-rock band draw their influence from Queen, the Rolling Stones, Def Leppard, Oasis, and The Libertines, with reviewers describing The Struts as “unabashedly over the top retro-fetishist classic rock”.
I will admit this particular genre is not my usual choice but after listening to this debut album, I am coming around. If you miss listening to catchy rock tunes, then this album will not disappoint especially the stand out anthemic track ‘Could Have Been Me’.
Beautiful ballad, combined with a beautiful voice. It is almost impossible to not draw a comparison to Adele. Låpsley even happens to be a label mate, with them both being signed to XL Recordings, but to me, Låpsley shows no signs of standing in someone else’s shadow. Already a fan.
Definition of SLAY:
Such a talent! Love this lady.
Had to post this. Can’t stop listening. Part of the OWSLA family. Same label as Skrillex and our favourite, Vindata!
Alex’s sound is deeply rooted in earliest styles of underground dance music, touching on Disco, Funk, Chicago House and Detroit Techno as well as Indie Rock. The perfect soundtrack for sweaty, dimly lit lofts and huge festivals the world over.
“If you have a time in your life where you weren’t happy, and in fact couldn’t imagine ever being happy again, then to rediscover it is incredible,” Bailey Rae – The Independent.
Great to see Corinne Bailey Rae back after 6 years away, with a brand new video and album, and just as smooth and silky with her vocals.
Her new single ‘Been to the Moon’ released on Friday, marks the start of her big comeback. The two time Grammy winner will be releasing her new album ‘The Heart Speaks In Whispers’ on May 13th via Virgin EMI, which was recorded at Capitol Records’ studios and also features bass playing from legendary session player Pino Palladino (Marvin Gaye, The Who, David Gilmour).
